  • Schedule III: Ketamine, anabolic steroids and some codeine-containing medications. Possession of a Schedule III drug is a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense, punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $500. A second offense is a Class D felony.
  • Schedule IV: Xanax, Valium and Ambien. Possession of a Schedule IV drug is a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense. A second offense is a Class D felony.

We will work to minimize the impact of the charges on your life. Our team of skilled criminal defense lawyers has a deep understanding of Kentucky drug laws.
